{"id":2537,"date":"2016-05-16T06:23:36","date_gmt":"2016-05-16T06:23:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blending.globecore.com\/?p=2537"},"modified":"2016-05-16T06:23:36","modified_gmt":"2016-05-16T06:23:36","slug":"thermally-stabilized-oil-production","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blending.globecore.com\/thermally-stabilized-oil-production","title":{"rendered":"Thermally Stabilized Oil Production"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In most cases oil storage and heating is accompanied by occurrence of additional moisture. \u00a0Fuel oil containing water lead to disruption of combustion mode, contamination of heating surfaces, incomplete fuel burning, formations of unburned coke and \u00a0deposits of particles along the gas passage. \u00a0Furthermore, the use of such raw materials may cause flameouts and emergency stopping of the equipment.<\/p>\n<p>The best solution, to avoid the negative effects listed above, is a preliminary preparation of fuel oil for combustion. \u00a0The essence of this approach is to provide a uniformly distributed fine fraction of moisture in fuel oil due to the destruction of quasicrystalline structures.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>GlobeCore<\/i><\/b> has developed USB plants for the production of water-fuel emulsions (including hydrostabilized fuel oil) from normal and degraded fuel oil, waste oil, diesel and furnace oil, crude oil and oil refinery waste.<\/p>\n<p>Hydrostabilized fuel oil is synthetic fuel consisting of two liquids that are insoluble in each other. \u00a0It was hypothesized that burning of water-oil emulsion can improve quality parameters of combustion process as well as reduce the amount of toxic emissions. \u00a0To confirm this hypothesis, it was necessary to solve the following problems:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to determine technical and economic performance of boiler units M 100 using fuel oil and hydro stabilized fuel;<\/li>\n<li>to determine the quantity of hydrocarbons, sulfur and nitrogen oxides emissions for each tested fuel type during operation at different loads.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The corresponding experiments were carried out for DE 16-14 GM boiler unit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2538\" src=\"http:\/\/blending.globecore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2016\/05\/oil_production.jpg\" alt=\"oil_production\" width=\"606\" height=\"383\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blending.globecore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2016\/05\/oil_production.jpg 606w, https:\/\/blending.globecore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2016\/05\/oil_production-600x379.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 606px) 100vw, 606px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em><strong>Fig. 1 shows a diagram of measurement points for DE 16-14 GM \u00a0boiler when using fuel oil.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Fig. 1.
